FACE began in 2003 when 5 friends decided that our neighbrhood had so many great places, people and things that we knew about, but no one else did. Rarely was any news coverage focused on all the good places to see or accomplishments mentioned, and both the City's tourist map and the art museum's wall map cut off all neighborhoods below the 280 freeway east and west. We're a community of residents who proudly live here and actively engage in the community.
